A buyer’s agent represents you the buyer. Many people do not understand that they need representation during the buying process. Many new home owners purchase new homes from builders without an agent. I believe that people think they may be able to save money by not having an agent when they purchase and this is not true. A buyer’s agent costs nothing to the buyer. Please keep in mind an onsite sales agent for a builder represents and looks after the best interest of the builder. A buyer’s agent is there to make sure the transaction goes smoothly and will also research solds in that community to ensure you are paying a fair price.
